Indigenous CHILDRENS’ LEARNING CENTRE & HERITAGE PROTECTION PROGRAM

Mondulkiri, Cambodia

A brand new building to not only create a safe place for the indigenous children of the area to safely learn and play but also act as a centre for vocational training, climate awareness, heritage protection, women’s empowerment and child rights (along with many more aspects).

The building will sit on a beautiful large piece of land that has long been gifted to the indigenous people of the area. The area above the proposed project (still on the same community land) is sacred, with a small temple on and is of huge significance to the community with draws in a great deal of tourism from Cambodians and to a lesser extent; internationals

The entire area is having a perimeter fence installed, which will include the temple, forest land and our project.

A big part of the community’s role as a whole, along with local NGOs, is to protect the wildlife and the forrest of the area, something of vital importance for the ongoing survival of the heritage, way of life of the people and a healthy prosperous future for their children

As with many of our projects, what the community and local NGOs lack is the funding for infrastructure, which is what I am hoping we can provide.
